The following statistics are taken from the Ministry of Health website and updated as they are available. Due to difference in how the date is made available some daily totals may differ slightly from numbers shared by the Ministry in their daily media briefings. Information is only available at a district health board level.

Active cases are people who currently have the virus. The number is lower than the total cases as people who have died, or recovered are not counted as active cases.
