New Zealand, as a country, lacks a strategy according to the boss of leading software company, Xero.

Rod Drury says he would like to work with the Government and come up with a plan to make the most of our competitive advantages.

In this interview with business journalist Rod Oram, Drury outlines the areas where he thinks New Zealand should be leading the world.

He also discusses the steps his company is taking to increase the number of women executives, what we can learn from the political scene in America, and the impact of Xero’s relationship with controversial tech entrepreneur and Donald Trump supporter, Peter Thiel.
