The New Zealand Fashion Week extravaganza contained many special moments, but none more poignant and acclaimed than the return to the runway of celebrated designer Tanya Carlson.
Carlson’s big show, Celebrating 20 Years of Carlson, sponsored by Holden Astra, was held in the grandly modern foyer of architects Warren and Mahoney before an A-list audience, and it didn’t disappoint.
Stunning fabrics collected over her career had been transformed into 32 outfits and paraded to music, lighting and applause befitting a fashion week highlight.
