Sports A-Gender: young cyclists hunt more metal

*Watch Sky Sport News presenter Kate King preview a massive weekend for Kiwi sportswomen in the video above*

Just a week after claiming World Cup gold and silver in Hong Kong, New Zealand's female track cyclists are out to collect more precious metal on their home track this weekend.

The young team pursuit quartet, who snatched gold from the highly-fancied Belgians in Hong Kong, will be looking to repeat their upset at the Cambridge World Cup event, starting Friday. And madison silver medallists Nicole Shields and Jesse Hodges will want to go one better on the Avantidrome track they know so well.

In another huge weekend for Kiwi sportswomen, our 49erFX and Nacra 17 sailors contest their world champs on Auckland’s harbour; the Black Fern Sevens defend their title in Dubai; Super Club netball kicks off in Nelson; and Sophie Devine aims to continue her swashbuckling form in the finals of the Big Bash league.
