Business podcast: A ride-sharing revolution
Electric car and scooter ride-sharing services are changing the economics of getting around cities and may even change the way they look. Bernard Hickey reports.
Also in this week’s Two Cent’s Worth podcast, the panel of Bernard Hickey and Nikki Mandow from Newsroom, Jenee Tibshraeny from Interest.co.nz and Gyles Beckford from RNZ look at the latest takeovers in the funeral business and the convictions of Peter Yealands and Yealands Estates for deceptive and misleading conduct over adding sugar to wine exported to Europe.
Two Cents' Worth has been launched by Newsroom in a co-production with RNZ. It is the country's first weekly business podcast and will be broadcast just after the midday news on Sundays on RNZ National, will be available on both RNZ and Newsroom's websites - and we plan to make it available on iTunes from later on Fridays.
Each week we will examine one issue in depth and then convene a panel discussion. Here is this week's version on RNZ as well.
