Govt will not step in for Fonterra farmers

The government will not intervene with Fonterra, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said, saying there's no suggestion of it failing.

The dairy cooperative is forecasting a loss of up to $675 million, and has announced it will not be paying a dividend this financial year.
