AMP Life zombie buyer challenged to front in NZ

AMP Life’s assurances about the company’s zombie sale aren’t reassuring policyholders. They are challenging the Bermuda-registered buyer to come here and make enforceable promises to New Zealand's regulator. Nikki Mandow reports.

Over the last few days, a letter has been arriving in the mailboxes of the 200,000 AMP Life policyholders. It comes from board chairman Trevor Matthews.
